When we went on our huakʻai around campus, we learned a lot about almost every building on campus and how they came about t be what they are today! Here are some of my favorite facts that I learned on the huakaʻi.
- All girl dorms are named after high-ranked woman
- Keopuolani is the mother of Kamehameha II and Kamehameha III and the highest building on campus is named after her because she is the highest ranked
- In the 60's, they called it "Senior Cottage" where they had to take care of a live baby for a week
